Challenge
The customer encountered significant challenges in scaling their infrastructure due to datacenter capacity limitations, security and compliance requirements, and overall resource constraints. As the environment grew, managing scalability across multiple database servers became increasingly complex. Additionally, delivering consistent security controls—such as server protection, data backup, and compliance management—introduced operational overhead and further strained organizational resources.
Solution
We recommended a hybrid architecture to address their business needs, given the presence of multiple application and database servers in their data center, as part of our managed services and cloud consulting services. To ensure scalability, we suggested transitioning to Amazon EC2 and Amazon RDS as part of our cloud migration services. As part of our security and compliance services, we proposed AWS best practices such as deploying servers in private subnets, implementing IAM users with least-privilege access, enabling multi-factor authentication, and using services like AWS CloudTrail and Amazon GuardDuty, supported by our SOC service for continuous threat monitoring and incident response. Additionally, our NOC services ensured 24/7 monitoring and management of infrastructure and network performance. We also supported disaster recovery services to ensure business continuity and resilience, along with implementing edge security using Amazon CloudFront and AWS WAF.
Business Impact
We have successfully completed the end-to-end setup in the AWS infrastructure through our managed services, achieving the required scalability and resulting in approximately 20% cost savings. Additionally, the security posture has been improved in accordance with AWS standard guidelines.
