Cloud based scalable & secure AWS infra for India's one of the leading Financial services

Customer Name: Airpay Payment Services

[CSP: AWS | Vertical: Payments]

Airpay is a leading India based global financial services platform that enables Consumers, Businesses, Banks and Financial Institutions to securely transact and manage their money. With over a decade of experience in payments aggregation and collaboration with over 200+ financial institutions and 1000+ business partners, Airpay is the go-to choice for an integrated omnichannel payments experience.

Challenge

The customer was faced with scalability, datacenter capacity, security and compliance issues. There were organizational and resource constraints to scaling up the infrastructure. Managing multiple database servers as well as providing security-as-a-service for server protection, data backup, etc. presented further challenges.

Solution

We recommended a hybrid architecture to address their business needs, given the presence of multiple application and database servers on their data center. To ensure scalability, we suggested transitioning to Amazon EC2 and Amazon RDS services. With regard to security, we proposed best practices as recommended by AWS, such as servers in a private subnet, IAM users with least privileges, multi-factor authentication, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty. We help them implement edge security using Amazon Cloudfront and AWS WAF.

Benefits

We have successfully completed the end to end setup in AWS infrastructure, achieving the required scalability and resulting in approximately 20% cost savings. Additionally, the security posture has been improved in accordance with AWS standard guidelines.
